This piece talks about my quarantine experience when I came back from Ottawa in June. Since the Chinese government implemented the inbound travelers quarantine policy, I had to stay in a quarantined hotel in Xi'an before I can proceed back to Beijing. The life in this quarantine was tough and difficult at first, being confined in a tight space brought me anxiety and loneliness. I missed the normal life. But after chatting with the medical staffs, I realized there is nothing I should complain about as so many people risked their life to help people like me come back home. We should sacrifice our "freedom" temporally, and be appreciate to all the people who helped or is helping to stop the spread of COVID19 . Together we can win this battle!
